Over the past four years, J&K has proudly hosted all four editions of the Khelo India Winter Games, witnessing a remarkable increase in participation. Athletes from across the nation have flocked to the snow-covered slopes of Gulmarg to compete in this sporting spectacle.
The 4th edition introduced a new dimension, with ice sports such as Snow Skating, Ice Hockey, and Curling shifting to the Union Territory of Ladakh, while snow-based events were conducted at the internationally renowned ski resort of Gulmarg. With abundant snowfall creating pristine slopes, Gulmarg transformed into the quintessential winter sports destination, offering both charm and challenge to participants and spectators..
